The Redhall Group has announced that with effect from the 4th April 2011 it is launching Redhall Nuclear Limited by bringing together Jordan Nuclear Limited, Steels Engineering Services Limited and Chieftain Insulation Limited. The bringing together of these businesses allows us to deliver a greater depth and breadth of services and products to our existing customers, whilst ensuring we develop best practise as a leading brand in the Nuclear sector.

This formidable combination will create a business with approximately £40 million turnover and 400 staff based across the UK, working from offices in Sellafield, Berkshire, Barrow in Furness, Teesside and Gateshead.

The capabilities of the new business are greatly enhanced by combining the long established and distinguished operational histories of each of the companies along with their unique strategic positioning and a skill base which is organised to maximise efficiency in delivery.

The creation of the new business will establish Redhall Nuclear as an employer of choice and will provide real opportunities for individuals with flair, motivation and aspiration.

Decommissioning and Waste Management

Redhall Nuclear has over 50 years of experience in delivering robust decommissioning and waste management solutions. Our breadth of services are entirely bespoke to meet individual client requirements and are delivered to an exemplary standard of safety. With extensive experience of working in hazardous and radiologically controlled areas, Redhall Nuclear has all of the requisite skills to provide reactive and planned operational maintenance, asset care and surveillance, decommissioning, remediation and management of waste arisings.


Defence

Redhall Nuclear has extensive experience in delivering complex turn-key solutions. Experience has been gained significantly in recent years at AWE and at BAE Systems. Operationally the Defence Division, encompassing Redhall Marine, can boast a multi-disciplined workforce in excess of 275 personnel. In delivery, Redhall Nuclear can demonstrate an unblemished safety record achieved in challenging environments, underpinned by our capability to provide detailed design, project management, management of risk and a mixture of disciplines and trades all suitably qualified and experienced to work within the sector.


Power Generation and New Build

Redhall Nuclear Power Generation division has a long history of supporting operating nuclear power stations to maintain a high standard of efficiency through developing programmes to ensure existing plant and equipment continue to meet their performance expectations. Redhall Nuclear has already developed unique operational relationships with the Nuclear Industry to place us in a commanding position as the UK's nuclear new build programme gains impetus.


Growth Areas

Like all other divisions of Redhall Nuclear, the Growth Areas division has been formed from the integration of three renowned businesses; Jordan Nuclear Limited, Steels Engineering Services Limited and Chieftain Insulation Limited and is looking to develop both Redhall Nuclear's nuclear sector coverage and geographical footprint. The business' extensive experience in the nuclear sector coupled with over 400 multi-skilled engineers and support personnel will ensure that the division will succeed in leading Redhall Nuclear into new areas of business and with new customers across the UK and Europe.
